A loss...

An improved performance but not good enough is my verdict on Saturdays result and performance. The fact is we created few decent chances and were found wanting in midfield. Ferguson is trying to do too much and is taking too much responsibility on and for one who has just returned from injury it is admirable but it does not benefit the team. There were feww pass marks earned but again McGregor proved that he is solid and he does not desreve to get dropped the header just bfore Graveson scored was outstanding and it was one of a number of decent saves. Prso though he ran his heart out and worked out did not click with Boyd and he was lacking in decent service so couldn't do his job.

The frustrating thing is that Celtic are not that great a side and we know we can play better than that, maybe when Clement returns things will improve. We have missed him sorely and we can only hope he is back pronto.

Moving on and it is a good thing we got St Johnstone in the cup as I would not fancy our chances against some of the other teams we could have got so that will be us in the semi's at least, but we all klnow the CIS cup is a diddy cup and one that should be abolished but hey if we're in it we should be in it to win it.
